Monday, April 13, 2009 - initially tannic, tart and thin. It was set aside on kitchen counter to later pour down the drain, or use for cooking. Tasted the next day (30 hours later@ 72 room temp)-much, much better, dark cherry core and not nearly as tight, seems to get better and better sitting in the glass, a certain elegance is going on here, reminds me of Cantlemerle. but this wine will never be more than medium bodied. This wine is simply not ready at this point. Not even slightly oxidized.
My best guess is, I wouldn't open this wine again for at least 5 years, as this needs time to evolve. judgement reserved.
