Monday, November 28, 2022 - Had never heard of this producer before, but knew the vineyard so I was hoping for some fun stuff. Definitely over-delivered. Juicy dark plums on the nose, with beef, pepper, spiced black tea, charcoal pit. The palate is vibrant and silky with juicy plums and black cherries, dusty tannins. Flavors of chewing tobacco, violets, mesquite, cocoa, scorched earth. Fresh, fun, savory. In a really nice place right now.
