Monday, November 28, 2022 - From Clos Solene: Named after Guillaume & Solene's son born in 2012. It comes from a cooler area in Santa Maria Valley to make this wine a little more like France's cool climate Syrah and inspired by Cote Rôtie. Similar to the Hommage à nos Pairs it was also co-fermented with Viognier, fermented with stem, the texture of this wine is outstanding that will age for more than a decade. This wine displays a brightness with broader tannins and much more pepper spices.
Serve at 58°F- 60°F | Drink 2022 - 2040 | Decant 6 - 8 hours
Blend 97% Syrah and 3% Viognier
Vineyards Bien Nacido Vineyards from the famed blocks Z and X
Aging 21 months 40% new French oak, 40% once used oak
