Tuesday, December 6, 2022 - Italian Wine Scholar Class at the Texas Wine School. Organic. 100% Grillo from a 2200' hillside vineyard. Med yellow. Med+ to pronounced aromas of fragrant white blossoms, w/ white peach, ripe lemon, pineapple, lemongrass. All stainless steel. Dry, w/ generous fruit, med+ acidity and med alcohol (13%). Medium bodied, with med+ flavor intensity and length, w/ a citrus and saline mineral note on the med+ finish. Drink now, not intended for aging, although it should show well for several more years. Crisp, balanced and very approachable. A solid value at $20.
