This is not a Grand Yquem, a ok one. I don’t quite get some super enthusiastic notes here. This has nothing to do with let say, 1983. Nose is quite beautiful, palate is nice and balanced but lacks that little bit of acidity and mostly the length and depth you could expect. Falls a little bit short.
It was still a great moment especially paired with a proper blue cheese
