Tuesday, December 13, 2022 - This a very decent, somewhat generic claret - for complicated reasons we drank it after it had been opened and then recorked 3 days prior. It has quite a nice balance of ripe fruit, a little acidity and enough quite smooth tannins that this is a food wine. It went down nicely with a midweek slightly spicy pizza. Overall somewhat generic and undistinctive, but not unpleasant.

This was a gift, but I believe it's ~US$12, at which price it's quite OK QPR.
