Saturday, December 17, 2022 - Deep spicy and earthy notes with mulberries and raspberries, breakfast tea leaves on the nose. Let it sit for a while for the leathery and toasted almond to emerge from the glass. Palate has more of the nutty tea leaves flavours with star anise and savoury herbs in the core. The fruits take a backseat. Almost full-bodied, with some bite and a tight structure. Finish has tons of grippy tannins. This need more time for the tannins to resolve and melt into the elements. Decant for 2 hours if you are drinking now. Laying this down for another 3-5 years should improve its overall texture. 89-91 pts.
