Sunday, December 18, 2022 - Initially a bit muddy with plummy fruit, nose & palate. Soft with an abbreviated finish, mild oak veneer. With air, light prickly tannin emerges along with some cherry that adds a little brightness to the nose. With more air, the entry & finish meld, tannins stiffen. Not sure I’d have guessed primarily Zin. For me, nowhere near the 2012, which was a revelation @~$22. No dissolved CO2 in either bottle. Not my style this year. 2 of 4
