Wednesday, December 7, 2022 - First Wednesday Wine Club (Napoli in Bocca, Haberfield): "Served Blind.
Jammy with a fair alcoholic heft, meaty notes, ripe red and black berries, cream, slight tomato leaf, vanilla. Chalky tannins, alcohol warmth translates to the palate as well, vanilla, a little red fruit, baked black fruits, all non-delineated, fairly anonymous.
New World, not sure what varietal, guessing about 7-10 years old, it's a bit out of whack, possibly out of condition."
