Saturday, December 31, 2022 - Coravin fun - Bordeaux (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Medium plus intensity aromas of quite ripe black fruits showing plums, blackcurrant over red berry underpin, polished oak, muted sweet spice, cream, a little caramel, alcohol lends a little peppery underpin. In the mouth there is medium plus intensity acidity which proves quite juicy, alcohol warmth, plummy fruit is broad, tannins are drying, slightly grainy but also quite polished. Less dried out that the last tasting but this still sits in the 'hmm' space for me.
