Thursday, January 19, 2023 - Tasted next to other Barolos, which were substantially younger. This one showed a surprisingly dark red color—aromas of cherry, tar, leather, herbs, and mushrooms. Medium+ body! Mellowed tannins at this age and ample acidity keep it fresh. I was surprised by how easy this was to drink.
