Sunday, January 22, 2023 - Popped and followed over several days. 13% abv, barrel fermented neutral French oak sur lie, 50% whole cluster, partial malo, racked at bottling.

Pale straw color tinged a touch green. Faint nose varying from saline sea breeze to vanilla bean, white flowers and dried grass. There's a steelie tension to this wine, stems? Very delicate/light touch, mid-palate is hidden at cellar temps but with a rise in temperature lemon curd and oyster shell minerality, turns creamy on the texture. The acidity comes to the forefront followed with a mineral blast, lemon-lime, green apple skin and that tension. The finish is long and lip-pursingly tart. I found it to be most expressive at or near room temperature and on day two. Would pair great with shellfish or creamy pasta. A different cat than the Linda Vista but equally enjoyable.
