Thursday, February 16, 2023 - Always a pleasure to return to iconic Sonoma family grown Zin. Purple as dark as an aged rock star's hair. Aroma screams Taste me! Juicy, soft lilac grapey entry balanced with perfect fruit acid, barely tongue enticing grape skin tannins, suggestion of a one night stand with wood teasing complexity. I prefer the 2021 to prior vintages - surprisingly satiny the sensuous lilac ripe grape concentration deserves a WOW!
