Monday, March 27, 2023 - Even after 4 hours decant, the wine is surprisingly fruity. Like Napa fruity. There is a hint of bdx earthiness on the nose but in a blind setting, most people would call it Napa. On the palate, much more bdx, but still very Napa-esque. Tannin and acidity are aggressive. Good structure, but it is just too much at this phase. You can recognize the quality and it probably takes many years for this wine to be good.
