Sunday, April 9, 2023 - Popped and poured. Very attractive, enjoyable wine. Dark red with a red rim and good viscosity. Fine mulberry fruit with red currant, and touch of iodine and iron. Plump and flavorful. This has good presence, rich and balanced, with good structure. This is open for business, and decanting would likely make it even moreso. Has plenty of structure, fruit and acid to age for another two decades or more, easily. Not the most complex wine in the world, but further age might solve that "problem." 5-12-16-8: 91/100.
