Thursday, April 13, 2023 - This was probably the very best new world white wine I've had.
The community note sentiments are solid.

This is a burgundian chardonnay with an exotic flair, in the premier to grand cru range.
Yellow green in glass. Taut, linear cool climate wine, with tropical notes of kiwi, mango, green apple, acid is shimmering and holds the wine together
The finish is spectacular, minutes long, and very high complexity
The french oak is present but well integrated in my view
Needs a long decant if opening now, otherwise I'd give it 7-10 years in cellar. Bravo, will be keeping this producer and region in mind

1/8/2024 10:40:00 AM - nice - haver never tasted, but I have a 2019 tucked away in the cellar. good to know to wait a while. Their cabernet is also phenomenal (and insane value) ... have a 2018 in cellar
