Saturday, April 15, 2023 - A lot of mocha and chocolate on the nose, along with some hints of raspberries. I’d concur with Candyman’s notes on the palate in that it took a while to develop but after a couple of hours of decant it was perfect with a mixed grill of spicy Italian sausage, Asian marinated chicken and salt and peppered steak tips. Smooth finish. Finished the bottle with some 70% dark chocolate, which was a perfect match. For the cost, a tremendous QPR.
