90 Points

Thursday, April 27, 2023 - Nose: Sesame, vanilla cake, citrus, pineapple, hints of gasoline, butter
Notes: quite a lean body with sufficient salinity, Coche Dury is the master on balancing minerality and richness for white wines. Behind the intense nose one can feel the steel in the wine. For sure this is an excellent white in all aspects, nevertheless personally I still prefer a bit more roundness and creaminess to my Meursaults. This may be my personal preference though. Obviously very young still and probably needs another 10 years to develop into something more drinkable.
