Saturday, May 6, 2023 - Dinner at Imperial Treasure Teochew Ion. Light colour - mid garnet. Softly textured, no edges. Light body. Sweet ripe fruit, no greenness but quite fresh. Red fruited, cherries and strawberries, typical of this varietal. More finesse and elegance than most NZ Pinots, which can be quite robust and rustic. A rather attractive cool climate profile.
