Saturday, May 6, 2023 - Unfortunately 35% of production was lost due to severe frost. Made from a CS based blend with 9% of Merlot, aged for 18 months in 40% new oak. Deep garnet colour, ruby hue. Intense aroma of blackcurrants, cherries, toast, leather, herbaceous notes of green pepper, violets. Medium+ body, smooth and well structured with intense earthy and herbal flavours of graphite and black fruits, lovely complexity, some floral notes too. Smooth and velvety medium+ tannins and well integrated high acidity.
