Saturday, May 6, 2023 - A well balanced ckassical and elegant Pauillac made from a blend of 76% CS and 24% Merlot, 50% new oak was used. 5% of production lost due to frost. Deep garnet, ruby hue. Intense aroma of blackcurrants, herbs, cherries, sweet tobacco, earthy and leathery notes, pencil lead, bay leaf, hint of raspberries. Medium+ body, soft and elegant structure, fresh and herbaceous notes along intense black fruit flavours, cloves, leather hints. Concludes with well integrated medium+ acidity and finely grained high tannins.
