Tuesday, May 16, 2023 - My last bottle was almost 3 years ago. I felt it might improve for another 2 years. That seems to be the case. Dark red, scant fading. Blueberry on the pretty nose. Rich and precise on the palate, blackberry, blueberry, anise, bacon fat notes. Mid-palate is brighter and more red-fruited. Beautifully resolved tannins. Perfectly balanced acidity. Finishes long and gradual with dark fruits. In a beautiful place right now. Drink next 5 years. Patience is rewarded with the Lagier Meredith Syrahs.
