Friday, May 19, 2023 - Pop and pour. Extremely long diam cork. Serious tension. Lots of chalk. For a 2018 it’s well balanced without the heat overly showing. This got better as it got warmer, albeit I preferred this a couple of degrees below room temperature. With time, white chocolate and caramel dominate the nose. This is a great wine that punches well above its relative price point.
