Monday, May 29, 2023 - Dark purple color with clear ruby rim. Nose of dried black fruit and some earthiness/barnyard in the secondary. High tannins initially but subside after an hour decanted. Medium plus body with good acidity. Palate was of plums an blackberries with good oak and vanilla. Some earth/truffle came in towards the end finishing in a very silky mouthfeel of lusciousness. Excellent Pomerol.
