Saturday, June 10, 2023 - 1st of 6. This is an outstanding and complex wine. I liked it best at cellar temp, but enjoyed it at other temps as well. At cellar temp, the nose is just unreal good - lychee, grapefruit, stone, lemon (to name just a few qualities); on the palate it is delicious, mirroring the nose, but with pineapple and even banana on the finish (sounds strange, but it's all good). The finish is very very long, with the sappiness of the wine coating the palate and lingering for ages. When it was cold out of the fridge, the nose was more closed and the palate less expressive. This is in such a youthful state that I can see this gaining points with age, but there is no reason not to drink this now if you have some in your cellar.
