Friday, June 30, 2023 - Nice garnet colour, fading to the rim. It was decanted in the morning and it begins to open up at dinner time: the nose is showing red cherries, cranberries, leather, camphor, some tea. With some time in the glass, mokka and cedar comes to the surface. Taste is good and pretty fresh, a lot of structure and a high tannin level. Vertical wine.
The first out of 6 bottles, and the next one will wait about two years before opening. With time the score will be higher...I hope.
