Espresso bean and black licorice, mature, ripe blackberry cassis. It had some softer tannins on the finish, the dusty tannins had integrated quite well with the rest of the wine elements. The finish was still quite robust, and hasn't really lost much. I would not hesitate to hold this one for another 3-5 years, but really I would just drink these up now and age the younger vintages.
