Friday, July 14, 2023 - Bday lunch at Wa-I. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, gold colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of pineapple, baked apples. Developed.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of citrus lemon confit, baked apple, pineapple, apricot. Long finish.
Goes downhill with more air developing more caramel notes and oxidized/dead by evening time.
I wish others better luck with their aged bottles of Fontaine Gagnard whites.
