Wednesday, July 19, 2023 - From a half bottle. A strong, decently complex nose of blackcurrant, black licorice, sweet tobacco and spices pleases the senses, as do the initial impressions of the round, fruit forward body. However, diminishing returns as the body more evaporates than finishes.

If paired appropriately, such as with a grilled rare to medium-rare half-pound burger, this wine is very, very nice!!
