Community Tasting Note

Wednesday, July 19, 2023 - When I first opened this, I just enjoyed having it with my dinner. I loved the silky texture.

My attempt at a proper tasting note on the 4th day after it was opened: med. straw color, lemon, lime, pineapple, papaya, licorice, cream, sea salt, seaweed, oysters, and ground almonds. Med+ body, med alcohol, med+ to high acidity, and a lingering finish (med+). After the wine warmed up, that texture again resurfaced and is hard to forget.

Paired this with seared butter scallops. Excellent wine and wish I had more.
