Monday, July 17, 2023 - Pride of the Neufs - the 19 Ch de Beaucastel is as mysterious & beguiling as it is complex & generous. A number of years since I last had this wine - incomprehensible given how highly drinkable this wine is. Darkish ruby, translucent in appearance. Nose sings w highly fragrant aromas red fruit - raspberries, sweet-touched cherries, garrigue, tad of alcohol, woodsmoke, rose petals, spice. Full-bodied, yet retained elegance, perfectly balanced palate, graceful w grip & energy, long finish laced w warm fruit & spice!
