Monday, August 21, 2023 - Medium-dark red garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, boysenberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & spice notes, floral notes, herbs, minerals & a slight hint of vanilla/oak. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe dark fruit flavors of cherries, boysenberries & plums with spices, herbs, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but has the potential for further development with additional aging.
