Medium reddish garnet in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & plums with overtones of floral notes of violets & earthy/dusty notes, herbs, spices, sandalwood, minerals, orange rind & a slight hint of cedar. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, lush, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blueberries & plums with spices, herbs & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but it should develop further with additional aging. A wonderful Brunello which will only get better over time.

Dark reddish garnet in color, essentially opaque. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe red fruit aromas of blueberries, cherries & mulberries with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, spice notes, herbs & minerals. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, plush, ripe fruit flavors of red cherries, blueberries & plums, herbs & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but should develop further with additional aging. A lovely & enjoyable Barbera. IMHO, there is no way objectively possible that this is a "65" point wine unless it was an off bottle.

Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of red cherries, boysenberries & raspberries with overtones of dusty/earthy & spice notes of cloves & cinnamon, some floral notes of roses, cola, minerals & a slight hint of oak/vanilla. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of red cherries, mulberries & cranberries with spices, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but should develop slightly further with additional aging.
