2/27/2024 2:56:00 AM - Hi and thanks to all your words here. I love to read you. I tasted many Durfort since the 2015 vintage.. And always repeated the expériences.. Compared with Brane C. and Rauzan S. I would say.. for my own french taste.. that 2018 is the most extraordinary and intense of all.. then 2020.. then 2019.. then 2015.. 2022 i dont know now.. too early for me to judge.. very big vintage with alcool and force.. puissance in french.

For 2018, he is possibly the best of all but he scares me a little with his "too much" side. Even though the wines and methods have progressed since then, they remind me of some Bordeaux from the 1982 vintage which seemed to be masterpieces and then dried up or became fruit compote. I prefer to play it safe for now! Where you from?
2/27/2024 4:41:00 AM - I am living in Paris and am 69 years old. The best 2018 remember me the 1961.. little harvest.. and hot weather.. with more alcool in 2018.. And différent methods of course since 60 years.. And since Parker have left his much too strong influence! I would say since 2016. 2019 is a much bigger harvest.. easier lighter and charmer to taste.. generally. 2020 in between with less alcool and more acidity.. Super balance.. Could be more classic and closed to 2010 and 2016 style. Bordeaux great wines of Médoc and Pessac.. Cabernet mostly.. have never been so great for my mind.
