Saturday, September 9, 2023 - Disgorged in 2020, the brilliance behind this bottle was the youthfulness it possessed. Immediately greeted by a highly aromatic nose of citrus fruits, florality and distinct nuttiness. The palette, though, blew me away. With racing acidity, I found myself loving the youthful balance of green apple and lemon with notes of toasted brioche, stone fruit and minerality that accompanied. Lighter in body, this bottle has a long life ahead of it, but in its youth, it’s definitely one of the most exciting bottles of vintage Champagne I've opened recently.
