Wednesday, September 13, 2023 - An almost unbelievably large number of bottles of this wine (several hundred thousand?) is annually bottled. The price is always modest (around 10€), and the quality always at least reasonably good. A mix of 60% Viognier, 15% Roussanne, 10% Marsanne, 8% Clairette, 5% Bourboulenc and 2% Grenache blanc. Rather modest nose, probably partly due to the inadequately small supermarket glasses. Southern juiciness on the palate with peaches, melons and figgs, mineral notes and a modest acidity. Not sensational, but anyway real QPR.
