Sunday, November 5, 2023 - I found a case of this in my cellar, took a bottle to a bbq party. Opened it, found the nose quite intense, pungent, heavy oaked-smoky. It is seriously massive, inky, tannic in the mouth. It's far too young to drink. It needs time for the oak to settle down, too. It was far too oaky for me-and much like the wines I have tasted from 2020 vintage with "forest-fire" smoke.
