Monday, November 13, 2023 - Not an Ordinary Monday (Lorenzo's , London): A good 7(!) years since we had this last ( Papies 91) and great to cross paths with it again with a bit more evolution and indeed this is now drinking beautifully and with so much more to evolve too. Already showing secondary notes, light earthy side, herbs de Provence , light spice. The fruit is still there more darker and smokier at this stage than the bright red fruited 2009 we had also on the day ( Papies 91 and young) . A very pretty bottle that is now well into the drinking window and will not fail! very good 92-93 and this definitely will be even more with 5yrs more.
