Wednesday, November 15, 2023 - Intensely herbal nose with striking fresh sage and rosemary aromas. Layers of green passionfruit, pear and lemon. A chalky streak. Medium to full bodied with vibrant acidity. Great palate intensity. Long, bright and nuanced finish. A very interesting wine. Based on the herbal notes would never call Chardonnay blind. Would be interesting to see how this evolves.

WSET Notes:

Pale gold.

Pronounced on the nose with fresh sage, rosemary, passionfruit, apricot, toast, dried apricot, ginger, pear, biscuit and chalk. Developing.

Pronounced on the palate with green mango coming through. High acidity, high alcohol, full body, long finish.

Can drink now but has potential for aging.
