  • Haven't made a note on this in a couple of years, and it is fascinatingly different. Intense passionfruit. Dries down with great minerality. Dynamic and richer with air. Beautiful.

  • Intensely herbal nose with striking fresh sage and rosemary aromas. Layers of green passionfruit, pear and lemon. A chalky streak. Medium to full bodied with vibrant acidity. Great palate intensity. Long, bright and nuanced finish. A very interesting wine. Based on the herbal notes would never call Chardonnay blind. Would be interesting to see how this evolves.

    WSET Notes:

    Pale gold.

Pronounced on the nose with fresh sage, rosemary, passionfruit, apricot, toast, dried apricot, ginger, pear, biscuit and chalk. Developing.

Pronounced on the palate with green mango coming through. High acidity, high alcohol, full body, long finish.

Can drink now but has potential for aging.

  • Very interesting wine. A very herbaceous chardonnay that makes me draw comparisons with Sauvignon Blanc.

    Pale gold colour.

Pronounced aromas of fresh cut sage, lemon grass, thyme, ripe white grapefruit, ripe white peach, passionfruit, ripe yellow apple, wet slate, white blossoms, ginger.

    Pronounced palate.

Full body, high acidity, long finish.

  • Very nice, not much to add from other notes as we were hosting a dinner while we tried it. My contribution is that my reaction was that this wine was different from any chardonnay I have had in a specific way, but at first I couldn't put my finger on it. It was clean, fresh, not oaky or buttery, etc. - but what I really tasted that was unique - young coconut.

    Paired well with scallops.
