Friday, December 1, 2023 - Too young I know, but we opened a bottle in the name of science and it surprised me by how approachable it was. Of course there were tannins, but they were fine and well integrated, complementing the wine rather than overpowering it. Rich blue and black fruits, savoury, tinged with graphite. Classic Pauillac and absolutely delicious.
This may shut down at some point, but im not completely convinced of that. It will also obviously improve with time, but I really enjoyed this bottle. Classy stuff.
