Thursday, April 27, 2023 - My contribution tonight & wine no.2 TB.
Prominent nuances of black fruits initially but eventually replaced with elongated nose of roasted bell peppers. Lots of red fruit, some licorice, aged leather & well integrated oak.
Palate - medium body & acidity with resolved tannins. Gained density for the first 30mins but started to decline after that. Initial fruit & structure were enjoyable but after 1hr, the finish came up rather short. Most guessed as LB St Julien.Best to drink up now.
