Sunday, December 24, 2023 - It drinks so well... sometimes I wonder if it is a 'steal' in its price range (it is!). The 2016 is as good as the 2012 nature rose Berlucchi we used to enjoy. Medium plus finish, great floral especially on the berries. We also like that it is a 'forgiving' wine- floral holds well even the settings are not 100 percent ideal (e.g. abit too warm/too cold/too crowded). This is a true pleasure for xmas eve and a weekend. Glad we get them in the vintages regularly. This Franciacorta keeps giving against all solid entry-level rose champagne at an attractive price and a stable bottle after bottle
