But let's start from the beginning. In 2018 I had a 2011 vintage and it was like 95 points wine.
How about this one. The smell is fantastic. Blackberry, blueberry, plum, smoke. All of them are very strong and well defined.
Taste? Alcohol thrives from beginning to the end. No good. And if you add acidity to the picture...
What else can I say? Drinkable, but without satisfaction.
Big disappointment.
Fortunately it's only 17€
The worst wine from this producer.

1/5/2024 3:20:00 PM - Mightve been an off bottle. I've had multiple vintages of the Alberdi and the quality level of this vintage seems in the norm. It might be the lesser wine of LRA but it beats any other Rioja in the price range imo
