Saturday, January 6, 2024 - First bottle tonight was badly corked. Second one was good. Maybe too young though, in need of a lot of swirling, almost as it does not really want to open up. Remaining predominantly tannic and somewhat austere. Promising nose of red fruit and rose petals, also on the palate, the flavours are there but the wine seems to claim theme for himself tonight, at least for now. Will respect this and leave my remaining bottles for a few years.
