First bottle tonight was badly corked. Second one was good. Maybe too young though, in need of a lot of swirling, almost as it does not really want to open up. Remaining predominantly tannic and somewhat austere. Promising nose of red fruit and rose petals, also on the palate, the flavours are there but the wine seems to claim theme for himself tonight, at least for now. Will respect this and leave my remaining bottles for a few years.

Put in decanter for about an hour to tame the tannins. The wine presented with some maturity, dried red fruit, rose petals, autumn leaves and new leather. Still present tannins but with some evolution in the fruit profile. Will probably hold on to wait for the tannins to integrate more but wouldnt wait too long. Very good for its level

Praelum TITs - Piedmont (Praelum Wine Bistro): Pale ruby with starlight brilliance. Very herbal nose, while soft on the palate with red cherry and twigs, but one could still feel the grippy tannins. A straightforward one

Traditional style - rose petals, light and perfumed on nose. On the palate, bright red cherries, raspberries, rose, clove, mint, menthol, silky tannins. Pretty good actually for a Langhe Nebbiolo and one I may consider buying for the price. 2016 was a standout year. 89-90/100
