Saturday, January 6, 2024 - Served with the chocolate shuffle at the end of the meal at "Vue de Monde" restaurant in Melbourne.
This was from the "forgotten barrel", apparently a barrel of Muscat that had gone missing and was found much later, with records of age etc. missing.
A truly magical, and unique, experience: Searing impression of fruit and acidity on the palate; endlessly long, thick and unctuous.
Probably the wine of the night..
