Friday, January 12, 2024 - Decanted for an hour, poured off a small glass and back to bottle. Was tight and unyielding so I returned the bottle to cellar temp. Notes from 18h later.

Lovely nose of wet earth, cherry, mushroom, and a tinge of herbs. Palate is lovely and with tons of energy. Bright red cranberries and cherries, hints of earth. Very light and ethereal. Finish shows a nice bit of acidity and tannic structure with plenty of life to go.

This should cellar beautifully for another 10 years. No rush and give plenty of air before drinking. 92-93 range.
