Saturday, January 13, 2024 - Initially, my nostrils were assaulted by farmyard notes and talcum powder but underlying this on the palate was some savoury cherry fruit, shot through with a pleasing freshness. Fully dry, this had the softest of tannins, spice and developed a luxurious silky mouthfeel. On the finish, which was rather impressive and lingering there were further notes of plums with a hint of prune. In better condition than my last bottle and accordingly rated higher. CHP 92 pts
