Saturday, January 13, 2024 - PnP and drank over several hours (after straining out all the soft cork pieces - an ah-so was not even able to hold the cork together). Same notes as over a year ago: Overripe blackberry and black cherry fruits that gave way to slightly tangy red fruits that really showed at mid palate and finish despite only 6% Cab Franc, and which made this a much more interesting wine than it would have otherwise been. Smooth with 30 second finish. This wine probably has another several years at peak drinking.
